OLDWIG OTTO VON NATZMER
(1904 - 1980) German General and commander of the Panzergrenadier-Division 'Grossdeutschland'. Recipient of the Knight's Cross. Good pair of signed items, includes: S.P., 6 x 5.5 in. b/w, a chest-up portrait of von Natzmer in uniform, prominently wearing his Knight's Cross. He signs twice in blue ink: once at upper-left of the face, adding rank, and again on the reverse, adding 'Chef des Generalshaben H.G. Nord...20.7.44 - 27.1.45...Oktober 44'. Mounting remnants on the verso, else fine. WITH: A.L.S., 1p. 4to., Hannover, July 3, 1969, forwarding the above photograph to a collector. Von Natzmer signs at the conclusion, also adding 'V. Natzmer...Generalleutnant a.D.' at the upper-left corner. Edgewear at top, else very good.
