NICOLAUS VON BELOW
(1907 – 1983) German Luftwaffe officer and an adjutant to Adolf Hitler. Below was a witness to the last will and testament of Adolf Hitler. He did not sign the Political Testament but added his signature to the Private Testament of the document. Rare war-date S.P., 3.5 x 5.5 in. b/w, a chest, up pose in uniform signed on verso adding: 'Major and Adjutant of the Wehrmacht (Luftwaffe) to the Fuhrer and Reichschancellor Fuhrerheadquartes, 1942' Fine.
