MARK W. CLARK
(1896 - 1984) American general, commanded the landings at Salerno and Anzio against the forces of Kesselring. Signed FDC, 1p. oblong 12mo., honoring General Eisenhower's role as liberator of Nazi death camps. Clark signs at bottom-right in blue ink, adding rank. Fine, with Oct. 14, 1969 cancel.
