FRITZ SELDTE - (1882 - 1947) Nazi Reichsminister of Labor and Gauleiter of Moselland, indicted at Nuremberg but died before the trial commenced. Fine content and association T.L.S. on his personal letterhead, 1p. 4to., Berlin, Jan. 30, 1935 to Adolf Hitler, in German. Seldte presents his old comrade with a book he has written on the occasion of the second anniversary of Hitler's being sworn in by German President Paul von Hindenburg as Chancellor of Germany. He writes, in part: '...My Fuhrer!...Remembering the great day, the 30th of January 1933, I have written the thoughts of an old-front soldier, who since 1918 is a fellow fighter with the same aims as yours, and who for has for the past two years been your Minister...The collection of ideas are those of the NS German front-line soldiers (Stahlhelm), collected and brought together by me for you and the new Reich in a small book which allow me to present you...' Small wrinkle at top, else fine.
