ADOLF HITLER - (1889 - 1945) Fuhrer of Germany and Nazi Party leader, Hitler's bloody rise to power, his military seizure of most of Europe and North Africa and his genocidal racial policies culminated in suicide in his Berlin bunker as Russian troops approached. Partial D.S., 7.25 x 6 in. (sight), Berlin, Nov. 13, 1935, clipped from the bottom section of a military appointment in German, in part: 'I sign this appointment with the expectation that the appointed has trust in his service oath and his occupational duties are to fulfill the well-being of the Empire...By this appointment, it becomes proven, I guarantee him the special protection of the Empire...' The bottom-left bears a blind-embossed seal, while the bottom-right bears the signature of Minister of Defense WERNER VON BLOMBERG. Light spot of foxing near signature, mentioned for accuracy, else in fine to very fine condition. Attractively double-matted with a portrait and English translation, then framed to a total size of 23.75 x 17.25 in.
