BRITISH BURMA CAMPAIGN VETERANS - Large signed reunion poster signed by approx. 80 veteran soldiers and officers from the British campaign in Burma during World War II. The 20 x 16 in. poster was signed in London in 1975, with the most notable signers being BERNARD LAW MONTGOMERY (1887-1976), and Lieut. Gen. WILLIAM J. SLIM (1891-1970), British lieutenant general who led the 14th Army, the so-called 'forgotten army', in the Burma campaign; an unidentified major general in the Indian Army, and representatives of every branch of the British armed services, including the brave Chindits.
