ADOLF WOLF - ADOLF WOLF (1899 - 1973) German general in the Luftwaffe, commanded the 13. Flak Division. He was a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross. T.L.S., 1p. 4to., Bayreuth, July 14, 1960 in German to an American researcher. Wolf mentions his 'namesake', SS General Karl Wolff, and the fact that the latter's surname was spelled with two 'f's. He also mentions that he attended a high school which specialized in humanities and that he studied Latin and Greek, and urges his correspondent to write in a language with which he feels comfortable.
