Condition report: complete. Without blemish. 190 cm wide and 60 cm long.Wu Zuoren (November 3, 1908 -- April 9, 1997) was born in Jing County, Xuancheng city, Anhui Province. He entered the Department of Architecture of Suzhou TechnicalCollege in 1926. From 1927 to 1930, he studied in Shanghai University of the Arts, the Department of Fine Arts of Nanguo Art College and the Department of Fine Arts of Nanjing Central University successively. And took part in theReform movement in the South. In his early years, he majored in sketch and oil painting, and later in his old age, he specialized in Traditional Chinese painting, which has broad scope and far-reaching meaning. He blends Chinese andWestern art with concise and accurate images. He is another leading figure in The Chinese art circle after Xu Beihong.
