Aeron House, LLC – Auction Terms & Conditions

By registering for, bidding in, or purchasing from any auction conducted by Aeron House, LLC (“Aeron House, ” “we, ” “us, ” or “the Auctioneer”), you agree to be bound by the following Terms & Conditions.

These Terms apply to all auctions conducted via LiveAuctioneers, HiBid, our website, or any other platform unless otherwise stated.

IMPORTANT NOTICE – PHOTOS GOVERN ALL BIDDING

Bidders must bid based on the photographs provided.

Titles, descriptions, and catalog text may be generated or assisted by automated or AI-based tools and may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies.

• Photographs take absolute precedence over titles, descriptions, metadata, and condition notes
• Titles and descriptions are provided for reference only
• No listing text constitutes a warranty, guarantee, or promise of accuracy

This applies before bidding, during the auction, and after purchase, including under AS-IS terms.

Buyer’s Premium, Fees, and Taxes

• A 22% Buyer’s Premium is added to the hammer price of all lots
• Applicable sales tax will be collected unless a valid exemption is on file with the bidding platform prior to bidding
• Credit card or platform processing fees may apply
• Buyer’s Premiums and fees are non-refundable

As-Is, Where-Is; No Guarantees

All items are sold AS IS, WHERE IS, WITH ALL FAULTS.

Aeron House makes no representations or warranties, express or implied, regarding:

• Authenticity or attribution
• Grading or condition
• Signatures or provenance
• Completeness or functionality
• Merchantability or fitness for any purpose

The absence of a noted defect does not imply the absence of defects.
Bidders are responsible for reviewing photos carefully and using their own judgment.

Auction Conduct and Bidding Authority

• The highest bid acknowledged at close is the winning bid
• Aeron House reserves the right to:
• Reject any bid
• Advance bidding at its discretion
• Resolve disputes
• Reopen or reoffer lots
• Aeron House records are final and conclusive
• All auctions are conducted with reserve, unless clearly stated otherwise

Registration, Approval, and Identity Verification

• Bidder registration approval is at the sole discretion of Aeron House
• We may require identity verification prior to approving bidding
• Bidders are responsible for all activity on their account

Payment, Non-Payment, and Forfeiture

Payment Expectations

Prompt payment is required to allow orderly fulfillment and shipping.

If payment is not completed within 7 calendar days of auction close:

• A non-payment dispute may be initiated on the bidder’s account
• Bidding privileges may be suspended or revoked

Payment Terms and High-Value Lot Policies

Accepted Payment Methods

Invoices may be paid using the credit card on file with the bidding platform unless otherwise restricted by these terms or determined necessary by Aeron House Auctions.

Invoices under $7,500 may be processed using the credit card on file with the bidding platform unless other arrangements have been made with Aeron House Auctions prior to the close of the auction.

Invoices totaling $7,500 or greater may require payment via ACH transfer or bank wire at the discretion of Aeron House Auctions. Credit card payments for higher value invoices may be declined due to fraud and chargeback risk.

Invoices totaling $15,000 or greater must be paid via bank wire transfer unless otherwise approved by Aeron House Auctions in advance.

Aeron House Auctions reserves the right to determine acceptable forms of payment for any transaction regardless of invoice total.

Verification for High Value Purchases

For high-value purchases, Aeron House Auctions reserves the right to request identity verification prior to processing payment or releasing items. Verification may include, but is not limited to:

• Government-issued identification
• Billing address confirmation
• Phone confirmation with the registered bidder
• Additional documentation confirming the payment method

Failure to provide requested verification may result in cancellation of the transaction.

Payment Deadline

Payment is due immediately upon receipt of invoice unless other arrangements have been approved by Aeron House Auctions.

Invoices requiring bank wire or ACH transfer must be paid within 48 hours of invoice issuance unless otherwise approved.

Items will not be released, shipped, or made available for pickup until payment has been fully received and cleared.

Right to Refuse Credit Card Payments

Aeron House Auctions reserves the right to decline or refuse credit card payment for any invoice, regardless of amount, at its sole discretion.

In such cases, the buyer will be required to remit payment via bank wire transfer, ACH transfer, or other approved certified funds.

This policy is in place to protect both the auction house and consignors from fraudulent transactions, payment disputes, and chargebacks, particularly for high-value lots.

Failure to complete payment using an approved method within the required timeframe may result in cancellation of the sale, forfeiture of bidding privileges, and reporting of the non-paying bidder to the applicable bidding platform(s).

Chargeback and Payment Dispute Policy

By registering for and participating in this auction, the bidder acknowledges that all bids are binding and final.

Bidders agree not to initiate a chargeback or payment dispute with their credit card company or financial institution for any purchase made in this auction.

In the event a chargeback or payment dispute is initiated, the bidder agrees that Aeron House Auctions reserves the right to:

• Provide auction registration records, bidding history, acceptance of auction terms, and shipment confirmation to the issuing financial institution
• Pursue recovery of the full invoice amount along with any chargeback fees, administrative costs, collection fees, and legal expenses
• Report the bidder as a non-paying bidder to applicable bidding platforms including, but not limited to, LiveAuctioneers, HiBid, and BidSpirit

Participation in the auction constitutes the bidder’s agreement that any payment issue must first be addressed directly with Aeron House Auctions prior to initiating a chargeback or financial dispute.

High Value Lot Bidder Approval

Aeron House Auctions reserves the right to require bidder approval for certain high-value lots.

Bidders wishing to participate on designated high-value lots may be required to:

• Request bidding approval prior to the auction
• Provide identity verification
• Provide proof of ability to pay
• Confirm their accepted payment method for the lot

Bidders who have not received approval may have their bids cancelled or blocked at the discretion of Aeron House Auctions.

The auction house also reserves the right to refuse or revoke bidding privileges for any bidder it determines may pose a risk of non-payment or fraudulent activity.

Shipping / Pickup Deadline

If shipping or pickup invoices remain unpaid 20 calendar days after auction close:

• The bidder forfeits all rights to the items
• No refund will be issued
• Ownership reverts to Aeron House, LLC or its client

This policy ensures fair treatment of all bidders and timely auction operations.

Payment Methods & Cash Payments

• Buyers wishing to pay by cash must notify Aeron House within 2 business days of auction close if their bidder profile is not already set to cash
• Failure to notify may result in:
• Loss of the cash payment option, and/or
• Automatic charging of the card on file

Shipping & Handling

• All shipping is handled in-house by Aeron House, LLC
• We may use Shipping Saint for:
• Invoicing
• Payment collection
• Shipping updates and communication

Labor & Materials Charge

• Aeron House reserves the right to apply a handling charge of up to $10 per order
• This fee is limited to exceptional circumstances, such as:
• Extremely large or complex orders
• Unusual packing requirements
• Situations where Shipping Saint cannot be utilized
• We make every effort to minimize or avoid this fee whenever possible

Pickup, Deadlines, and Exceptions

• Items will not be released until paid in full
• Pickup deadline extensions are common, but:
• You must contact us as soon as possible
• Do not wait until deadlines have passed
• Failure to communicate may result in forfeiture as outlined above

Returns & Restocking

• All sales are final
• Any return approved at the sole discretion of Aeron House:
• Is subject to a 20% restocking fee
• Must be returned in original condition
• Shipping costs are non-refundable

Bid Rigging & Prohibited Conduct

Bid rigging, collusion, or coordinated bidding is prohibited and may result in:

• Immediate revocation of bidding privileges
• Platform reporting
• Referral to authorities where applicable

Exceptions & Communication

• Aeron House understands that situations arise
• Bidders should contact us as soon as possible to request exceptions
• Aeron House may enforce or waive any term at its discretion
• Any exception is not precedent-setting and applies only to the specific circumstance

We are reasonable — communication is key.

Limitation of Liability

Aeron House is not liable for:

• Errors in descriptions or titles
• Platform outages or bidding disruptions
• Carrier delays or damage once items are handed off
• Acts or omissions of third-party platforms

Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Final Acceptance

By bidding, you confirm that you:

• Have read and understood these Terms
• Agree photos govern item representation
• Accept payment, shipping, and forfeiture timelines
• Agree to be legally bound by these Terms & Conditions
