Allen & Wheelock BP Pistol .36 BP - 4-barrel pepperbox manufactured by Allen & Wheelock, exhibiting clean bores and a nice patina throughout the firearm. Multiple variations of this pepperbox exist, with this one appearing to be of the small/pocket variety. Pepperboxes were popular guns on concealment and completed successfully against Colt revolvers. Widely used throughout the United States, as well as Mexico during the US Civil War. A nice addition for any collector. is in very good condition, showing normal signs of use and wear.
