Jean Cocteau (French, 1889-1963) Attributed: A ma chere Florence de tout coeur, 1961. Crayon on paper, signed upper right with dedication and date, verso is stamped "Forestal Collection" Nice (France). Unframed. This drawing is accompanied by a document declaring the transfer of ownership in a 2004 sale.

Jean Cocteau was one of the most multi-talented artists of the 20th century. In addition to being a director, he was a poet, novelist, painter, playwright, set designer, and actor.

Condition: Good condition overall, paper is toned; crayon is slightly faded; lower left corner is creased with small amount of paper loss; upper right corner rounded.
