C. Myron Clark: Napoli - C. Myron Clark (American, 1858 - 1925) : Napoli, 1904. Oil on canvas, signed, titled, and dated lower left, framed, noted verso from previous owner. C. Myron Clark was a painter of mountain landscapes in oil and watercolor, as well as ships (USS Constitution, 1906; Frigate in Tow). He worked mostly in Massachusetts, though his oil landscape of Mounts Skihist and Lilovet was painted north of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada in 1921. His work is in the collection of the Peabody Museum in Salem, Massachusetts. 24.75 x 16.75 inches framed; 19 x 11 inches canvas. Private collection Rhode Island.
