This item is accompanied by a document prepared in 1982 by Emile Fine Arts, Paris, France. This is a possible preparatory sketch for the 1961 Picasso etching and drypoint ‘Homme Grec Barbu’ Picasso was the most dominant and influential artist of the first half of the twentieth century. Associated most of all with pioneering Cubism, alongside Georges Braque, he also invented collage and made major contributions to Symbolism and Surrealism.
