Vincent van Gogh was a Post-Impressionist painter who is among the most famous and influential figures in the history of Western art. In just over a decade he created about 2,100 artworks, including around 860 oil paintings, most of them in the last two years of his life. They include landscapes and still lifes. 14 x 12 inches framed; 6 x 5 inches plate. Private collection, Switzerland; Collection of Lisa Moran Fine Art, 2005; acquired from above in a private sale by the current owner, a California Gentleman. Excellent condition, very well preserved.
