James Marshall, also known as Dalek is an American artist, best known for his work Space Monkey, a grinning and malevolent character, which is his own vision of a human being. Daring and dynamic, Street Art has roots in a controversial past. Long-considered vandalism, it was during the 1970s and 1980s that artists including Jean-Michel Basquiat and Keith Haring revolutionized the aesthetic, bringing their individual styles to a fine art audience and leading the way for the next generation of artists that includes the likes of Barry McGee, Invader, Mr. Brainwash, Banksy, and Brazilian twins Os Gemeos. 24 x 18 inches.
