From an illustrated book with thirty-two collotype reproductions published by Paul Rosenberg, Paris; printed by Andre Marty, Daniel Jacomet et Cie., Paris. This item is accompanied by a document estimating its value at $300-400. Picasso was the most dominant and influential artist of the first half of the twentieth century. Associated most of all with pioneering Cubism, alongside Georges Braque, he also invented collage and made major contributions to Symbolism and Surrealism. 11 x 9 inches print; 15 x 13 inches in mat.
