Verso is marked with numbers (Possibly inventory numbers). This lot is accompanied by a a photograph of Zadkine's relief sculpture, Les Menades. The photo's back is marked with the title and exposition information, and a stamp, from the photographer, Paul Bijtebier. Zadkine was a Russian cubist sculptor and painter who spent most of his career in Paris. His works draw extensively from non-western and classical art.
