This work shares similarities with Cezanne's paintings of L’Estaque, a subject matter he visited on several occasions. Paul Cezanne was a pioneer of the Post-Impressionist movement and a catalyst for the transition to twentieth-century modern art. He is best remembered for his quick, expressive and repetitive brushstrokes that built up areas of rich color. 17 x 24 inches. Aged condition, heavy craquelure.
