Sims Family Auctions, Oct 18, 2025. 99 lots.

Sims Family Auctions -

All guns will be kept off site until preview. Online bidding can be done at https://simsfamilyauctions.com/

Preview: we will bring the guns in on Friday afternoon and have a preview from 4:00-7:00. We will open the doors at 8:00 Saturday morning for preview and will help you get your FFL paperwork filled out before the auction. We won't be able to run the background checks prior to bidding, but having your information filled in will help speed up the checkout process. These will be our only preview times. Nobody will be given an address for where the guns are being stored prior to this date.

Pickup:

Pay, pickup, and NICS checks can be ran after the auction on Saturday, Sunday from 4-7, and Monday 12-6 at 3774 AR 43, Harrison, AR.

NICS Check:

THIS HAS THE POTENTIAL TO BE A LENGHTY PROCESS. PLEASE BE PATIENT WITH OUR STAFF. LIVE BIDDERS WILL NEED TO PAY THE DAY OF THE AUCTION, BUT CAN COME TO ANY OF THE PICKUPS TO HAVE YOUR NICS CHECK DONE. WE WILL HAVE 4-5 WORKERS RUNNING CHECKS ON SATUDAY, BUT ONLY 1-2 ON THE OTHER DAYS. PLEASE PLAN ACCORDINGLY.

All FFL paperwork and background checks will have to be run in order to purchase a firearm. Background checks are not always approved the day the check is ran. A firearm will not be transferred until we are given the all clear from the NICS check. If you hold a valid Arkansas Concealed Handgun Carry License, you will have to do the paperwork, but the background check will not have to be run, which will speed up your check out time, and allows you to leave with your purchase that day. A delayed status does not exempt you from purchasing the firearm. If you are the winning live bidder, you will be required to pay for your firearm before leaving.

These guns are like they just left store. Most have been kept in a moisture barrier plastic, gun socks, or safes with dehumidifiers. No pitting or rust is anywhere to be found on these guns. The majority of these guns were stored with snap caps. If you are a gun buyer, collector, or just looking for a high energy way to spend a Saturday, this will be the place to be.

To buy a long gun, you must be at least 18 years old and an Arkansas or bordering state resident.

To buy a handgun, or pistol grip shotgun, you must be an Arkansas resident and at least 21 years old.

Handguns can be sold to out of state residents, but the firearm will be shipped to an FFL of your choosing in your state, for an additional fee. That FFL licensee will be responsible for running your background check. That FFL licensee may also have a transfer fee that will be the buyers responsibility. If you do not pass your background check, you will not be entitled to any refund from Sims Family Auctions or the seller. If you are a non Arkansas or bordering state resident and wish to buy a long gun, the same FFL transfer rules apply

10% buyers premium for online bidders.
